The role of the Land Rover and later Defender in taking individuals to far flung corners of the world (or indeed the Greenlanes of the UK) is well known to all. In the fulness of time we have an ambition to build within our collection a class of exhibits that illustrate the adventurous heritage of the brand.
By chance, however, the first (and as yet only) opportunity to commence this task gave rise to the acquisition of a vehicle which is an ‘outlier’ to our core collection. We can do no better than leave that vehicle to speak for itself.
