Our Team

The ‘do-ers’: Andy & Chris Milsted

This is very much a family affair. Much of the day to day management and promotion of the collection is undertaken by brothers, Andy & Chris, who share the Collection founder’s huge enthusiasm for the Land Rover brand.

Emma Wright:

Being a single Mum, Emma is less able to commit time to the workings of the Collection, but is wholly committed to our work and is always willing to help out on administration tasks and does provide us with much needed facilities behind the scenes. (She’s also pretty handy in a Landy!)

Engineering: Ted Kingett

LRHC has entered into a term contract with Ted’s Automotive Engineering business to consult in setting up our first workshop and oversee our engineering services. We benefit from the incredible ‘Land Rover DNA’ that Ted’s business offers us. Ted learnt his way around the Land Rover during his long career with the REME. Since then he has never ventured far away from the Landy, exploiting his remarkable electrical and mechanical skills, reflecting his years’ of practical experience and life-long love of the brand. Not only does this allow us to bring regular maintenance of the entire collection, but we are also able to undertake restoration, bringing on the condition of our more important exhibits within our own workshop.

Restoration: Rob Maude

With a spell at JLR Classics on his cv, Rob Maude of LR Optional Equipment is eminently well placed to undertake restoration projects for the collection. In addition to his considerable Land Rover knowledge, Rob’s particular area of interest and expertise lies in the plethora of supplementary mechanical equipment that has so often been added to Land Rovers to make them fit for the workplace.

Our ‘go-to’ man : Steve White

Having retired from life in a Land Rover main dealership, no job is too big or too small for Steve. He is our key man the we turn to to get jobs done. Top man!

But we can’t do all this alone!

The Land Rover Heritage Collection and the LRHC Trust are eternally grateful to the Ambassadors, Patrons and Commercial Partners of the Trust. Their collective support, generously given, help us achieve so much in our pursuit of sharing the benefits of the Land Rover Heritage Collection and our knowledge with Land Rover enthusiasts and the general public alike. May this continue long into the future.
